As an employer, you can get quick access to students ready to put their skills to work for you by contacting one of the more than 300 Service Canada Centres across Canada.Whatever the job—big or small, short or longer term—we can help you fill it by posting a job notice where students and youth will see it on our virtual job banks and in our centres. Our services benefit your business or organization by helping you get dynamic and enthusiastic summer help.

Under the Summer Work Experience program, Service Canada and partner departments offer several initiatives to help you fill your summer positions.
Canada Summer Jobs is a Government of Canada initiative. It provides funding for not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers, and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create work experiences for students between the ages of 15 and 30.

Canada Summer Jobs is focused on encouraging not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers, and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create jobs that not only meet their needs, but benefit students looking to gain work experiences. The postmark deadline for employers to submit their applications is February 27, 2009.
