An Exciting Farewell

December 31, 2012

I’m a student and a young worker. Most of my friends are either students or young workers, or both. I know what it’s like looking for a job, and I know how hard that can be for a young person.

And with that thought in mind, I’ve written my blog posts to try to help. I’ve offered my advice and personal experience on subjects that have meant a lot to me, and issues I’ve faced personally when studying and looking for a job. Whether you’re in school, done school, or looking for your first “real” job, my blog posts were meant to help you with whatever path you’re on.

While offering my advice has been a fun learning experience, all good things must come to an end. I’m a co-op student, so I’m off to my next co-op placement! I will miss my job here, but I’m really excited to try something new and to continue my workplace learning.

So as I write farewell to all of you readers, I leave you with some final advice:  do something you love and don’t get discouraged. Good things come to those who wait. So whether you’re plugging your way through school or working hard at finding a job, don’t expect immediate results.  Hard work and patience are the two things that have helped me the most.

Take care and good luck with everything!

Corrin

Sounds like a sweet job for a coop term, are they hiring : ) ? Well I already have my Coop term lined up but it would definitely something I would've loved to do. Best of luck to you and I will continue to check regularly some interesting advice on this blog for sure. Too bad you’re not on Facebook

Thanks Liam! It was great having Corrin with us as a co-op student. It was definitely good experience for her. Keep checking back for more advice!
